Handmade Heritage

This rustic chestnut crook handle walking stick is not just made, it is grown! The ancient technique of coppicing involves cutting back the source trees about a metre back from the ground, stimulating the growth of new shoots which grow to an appropriate diameter for a walking stick.

Rustic Appearance

This crook walking stick is made from lightweight yet strong chestnut wood which is flame-scorched to bring out the grain and then polished for a unique finish. The signature curvature of its crook handle is both attractive and practical, allowing the stick to be hooked around the arm when not in use.

Sturdy Metal Ferrule

The Chestnut Shepherd’s Crook comes with a metal ferrule as standard. Ideal for walking on soft ground, the metal ferrule provides good grip and protects the bottom of the stick against damage.
