5 Vintage Boxwood London Pattern handled gouges by Robert Sorby [Preowned, SOLD]

4 of these gouges have matching London pattern boxwood handles (the smallest has a 1” split near the brass ferrule).

The shorter gouges are ½”, ¾”, 1” & 1 ½” wide with a medium sweep. The blade lengths vary from 4” (100mm) – 5” (125mm).

The 5th gouge has a very slightly different London pattern boxwood handle but is a much longer gouge with a blade length of 8” (200mm).

This longer gouge is 1¼” wide (32mm) with a medium sweep.

Some edge work/honing is required to make the edges perfect, but they are fabulous gouges.
